All of our varieties are manufactured in a shared facility with tree nuts, and Samoas® are made with coconut. We include a “manufactured in a shared facility with” if the cookie was “Made in a shared facility with” any of the top nine food allergens to provide transparency to consumers about common allergens that may be present in the bakery where Girl Scout Cookies are made. We recommend individuals with severe allergies carefully review labels and double check the ingredients list on the product or visiting the product pages.
Yes, we offer gluten-free Toffee-tastic® Girl Scout Cookies to all of the Girl Scout councils we serve. First introduced in 2017, Toffee-tastic cookies are crispy, buttery cookies packed with golden toffee bits. To find out if this gluten-free cookie is available in your area, please contact your local Girl Scout council.
Toffee-tastic cookies are baked on a production line that is thoroughly cleaned between production runs and tested to make sure the line is free of gluten. Toffee-tastic® cookies have been certified gluten-free by the third-party organization NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) and verified through testing as meeting the FDA guidelines for labeling gluten-free. For more information about the NSF, visit www.nsf.org.
Today, most of our packaging contains recycled fiber or 100% recycled paperboard. Most of the recycled packaging material is made up of a mixture of newspaper, office paper, cardboard and printed wastepaper from publishers and printing companies. Our packages are usually accepted by recycling facilities that accept magazine or mixed paper. The plastic trays are all polystyrene 6 (PS 6) and can be recycled if your local recycling facility takes #6 plastics. We provide instructions on how to recycle our materials on many of our packages. Many Little Brownie materials are printed on paper made from recycled materials as certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Each of the 111 Girl Scout councils determine their own consumer price based on a number of factors unique to that council. The net proceeds from cookie sales stay local, directly supporting the local council and troops to power amazing experiences year-round for Girl Scouts in your community. Contact your local council staff for more information.
Proceeds from the Girl Scout Cookie Program stay local within each Girl Scout council and their troops to fund activities for girls year-round as well as impactful girl-led community projects. Contact your local Girl Scout council for more info or learn more at GirlScouts.org.
