Booth support
With guidance from volunteers, Girl Scout Cookie™ entrepreneurs can reach their goals by choosing how they’d like to run their cookie business — in-person, digital or both!
In-Person Participation
There are lots of ways to reach their goals with an in-person business. Troops can set up a traditional cookie booth outside of retail stores, host a cookie stand in their neighborhood or even run a drive-thru booth!
For more ideas and information on the different in-person options, check out the Cookie Sale Guide.
To download resources, visit our Cookie Sale Toolkit or connect with your local council for additional in-person resources.
Quick reminders:
- Girl Scouts take the lead when interacting with customers and running their businesses.
- There should be more Girl Scouts than adults at every booth.
- Encourage volunteers to review safety rules.
- Practice booth etiquette by showing up on time, checking in with the location and thanking the business upon departure.
Digital Participation
Entrepreneurs can have a successful Girl Scout Cookie Season without leaving home! They’ll enjoy finding ways to get creative with their online cookie businesses.
Remember, safety first! Ensure all adults and Girl Scouts have reviewed Girl Scouts’ Digital Marketing Tips for Cookie Entrepreneurs at girlscoutcookies.org/troopleaders.
