Many colleges, universities, private corporations and foundations offer Girl Scouts scholarship money for higher education. Her achievements in the Cookie Program can become a key part of her scholarship application. If she achieves a top-seller award, takes a leadership role in her group’s sale or uses cookie money for a Take Action project, remind her to list it on her application or write about it in her essay. These experiences also make for rich conversations in college or job interviews.
