Koala Pouch Plate

Koala Plate

Match your cuddly Girl Scout Cookie™ friend by making a pouch of your own!

Here’s what you’ll need:
  • • Two paper plates
  • Koala ear template
  • • Markers or crayons (gray & black)
  • • Scissors
  • • Tape or glue
  • • Cotton balls
  • • String
  • • Stapler
  • • Hole punch

Step 1: Color the bottoms of the two paper plates with the gray marker.

Step 2: Cut one paper plate in half. On one of the halves, draw the shape of a koala head and cut it out.

Step 3: Draw eyes and a nose on the koala face with the black marker. Tape or glue cotton balls to both of the koala’s ears to make them look furry.

Step 4: Tape the koala head to the back of the other paper plate half. (The gray should show on the same side.)

Step 5: Match up the round edges of both plates and staple together.

Step 6: Punch a hole on the right and left side of the plates. Thread string or yarn through the holes so you can wear it around your waist. Now you have a pouch of your own to match the mascot!
