Although the use of palm oil in Little Brownie Bakers' Girl Scout Cookies® is limited, the palm oil used in our Girl Scout products is Certified Mass Balance palm oil. The Mass Balance System ensures that the palm oil Little Brownie Bakers® uses contributes to the production of environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable palm oil.
Beginning in the 2014-15 cookie season, Little Brownie cookie boxes now display the RSPO Mass Balance palm oil logo shown here, highlighting this cookie’s contribution to the production of certified sustainable palm oil.
All Girl Scout Cookies baked by Little Brownie Bakers are certified as kosher dairy except Thin Mints® Girl Scout Cookies, which are certificed kosher pareve.
All Girl Scout Cookies baked by Little Brownie Bakers have achieved Halal certification from the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America, demonstrating our commitment to developing cookie products that serve the needs of a wider segment of cookie buyers.
